Emotionally these subconscious belief systems are there to protect us. Unfortunately, however, they are also the very thing that continues to hold us back, time and time again!
Through our pain as children we begin to believe things like, "people are out to get us", "you can't trust others", "no one is really there for us", "money is hard to come by", "people will take from you that which you do not protect", "nothing truly belongs to you", and so on and so on and it all just becomes an endless cycle of you continuing to abuse yourself throughout your own life based on these beliefs.
